Style- Manhattan 1980

As a kid growing up in Upstate New York, there was only one place to go after high school.

New York City.
No other place mattered.
And only one time period ever existed really.

I love polaroids. There's something so "in the moment" about the way the colors developed. Sort of washed out, sort of not. Can't be replicated!

I also get sucked into looking at pics of people from the 60-late 70's in NYC/LA. So fascinating.

My God, Debbie Harry was so beautiful. I saw her about 3 years ago at some charity event and she was still beautiful. And about 60. Woman's gorgeous.

-umm. so, basically this is amazeballs. I was in NYC today for the NO H8 Photo Shoot. there's no place like it.

-Masala Chica's song on her blog which i have repeating over and over again was like the perfect backdrop for this little collage.

-i wish i grew up with you as your gay bff. we totally would have been Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe in that picture. i still loves that pic!
