Yep, our city as a yearly meet-up for local bloggers.
Does your city do that?
Huh?
HUH?!
I doubt it.
And that’s why all of you LA and New York people are moving here.
Last year’s Bleet-up was a blast. Just imagine this local online microcosm of bloggers finally forced into a room with one another. The mask of our witty online personas stripped away, hoping, praying that we that we live up to the monsters we’ve created.
Tolly, I might show up in a raggedy faux fur coat and pearls just to feel special, if that’s ok?
If you didn’t RSVP, then what the f is the matter with you!? Now you’ve missed your opportunity to go the Four Season and talk about your blog and look like a bag lady because the guest list is closed.
Austin Eavesdropper– the reining queen blog of what’s going on in Austin.
Adored Austin and Keep Austin Stylish– the reining queens of Austin fashion.
Angeliska Gazette– Angeliska’s beautiful and poetic blog is always a fun read!
Party Ends– John and Luther know what’s up with music.
East Austinite– Everything East Austin- the ONLY place that matters.
Because I Can– By a supremely talented and funny young lady WHO NEVER WRITES IN HER FREAKING BLOG.

Wow lucky! I think I need to find something like this in London, sounds like a barrel of laughs.
Hipsters are the vanguard of East Austin gentrification. Soon there will be none of that "authentic" flavor (i.e. run-down old houses and poor brown people) left that you guys value so much, and you will have only yourselves to blame. Enjoy your middle class slumming. The yuppie condos are right behind you. Oh look! There's one now!
I'm so jealous.
No, my city doesn't have one of those. My city doesn't really have anything apart from a lot of law firms and an excessive amount of gift shops…
…Gotta say, not really sure what I'm still doing here.
My friend josh is going to make so much fun of me for being dubbed a "queen of Austin fashion." But, thank you. Hopefully I will get to meet you in person tonight!
@Emily- Start on in your city.
@Todd- What a thoughtful comment!
@Jo- Come to Austin!
@Joanna- I hope to meet you too!
i wanna go
i saw the word "bleet" and i got super excited because i thought it had something to do with sheep.
still super cool though!
(there still might be sheep there though, right?)
If they do that in Motown, I am so not in on it. In fact, if I am 'in' something then usually everyone one else is 'out' of it!!
boo! didn't get to talk to you at this event. 🙁

Sorry I missed it, sent the wife Sarah (Magnolia Family Vintage) to rep.
Now read my blog! Every last word!
Aw, thanks for the sweet shout-out, lady! I was so bummed to miss the Bleet-Up this time 'round – it was my best girl's birthday, so we were hanging out under waterfalls! I heard it was fabulous, though – can't wait for the next one!
